Servers

Here's a list of PPTP VPN servers and the state of compatibility with DigiTunnel as a client, to the best of our knowledge. This information comes from a variety of sources and does not indicate "support" or a guarantee of compatibility with servers listed. DigiTunnel 1.2 and later is designed to work with PoPToP and other vpn servers based on this code. Some self-contained VPN servers (boxes) include a version of PoPToP and should now be compatible.

Routers

Most modern routers include "PPTP-passthrough," meaning that PPTP clients can connect through them out to an external VPN server. You may need to configure your router to pass PPTP, or turn off its NAT (Network Address Translation) to permit use of DigiTunnel. Some of the routers that support PPTP-passthrough are listed below.

Some routers only support one client at a time. You may be able to connect sometimes but get "Can't completely connect" other times. A workaround for that is to reboot your router. See notes below and your router's documentation.
